Maybe James Cameron is not crazy to spend $500,000,000 on Avatar after all? If ‘2012′ can bang home $225 million in its opening weekend, then the stakes are getting higher as Hollywood builds a worldwide audience more willing to spend money going to the movies.
‘Precious’ also continues to tick away with millions of dollars in returns for a movie that cost less than $10 million to produce.
