In the Variety scoop leaking the news, Scott suggests that Leonardo DiCaprio is his first choice to play Gucci. With a story as sensational as this, why not try some fresher faces?
From the Variety Article: Ridley Scott is in discussions with Angelina Jolie for a femme fatale role in “Gucci,” a drama about murder and decadence in the Gucci fashion dynasty.
Fox 2000 is fashioning a 2010 start date for the film, and Scott is talking with Jolie to play Patrizia Reggiano, who was sentenced to 29 years in jail for plotting the murder of her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci….(Read the whole article)

So much vampire content, so little time… This genre is flourishing at a time where cgi is so robust that it kind of feels new to see the horrific damage vampires inflict.
The Associated Press is predicting a possible glut in the Vampire niche’s performance, due to saturation. I disagree however because as technology continues to become more powerful, the possibilities continue to expand.
We’ll see how it affects Paul Weitz’s “Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant”, which opens Friday starring John C. Reilly playing an aged freak show performer.
